Red Kitchen Appliances

I like red, but it’s not my favorite color. Also, I have never imagined to have red kitchen, even though I like playing with colors. However, I have to be honest: I have simply got hooked on red kitchen accents, purely by accident. I’ve got a metallic red toaster for Christmas, beautiful and functional. My black and white kitchen became more beautiful and stylish. From that moment, I started looking for red kitchen appliances to add more red color to my kitchen. 

Red is the color of passion, the color that will stimulate you, illicit feelings of desire and appetite. See, for that reason many restaurants decorate have red colored interior and add red accents to the advertisements. Red encourages people to enjoy their meal, red attracts customers to enter the restaurant. Does it mean that this spicy color is reserved for commercial use. For sure, it doesn’t mean you can choose the red for your dramatic, passionate and enjoyable kitchen.

If, like most people, you are not ready to paint your cabinets and walls in red, you can do the same thing as I did. Add the spicy red color in small doses, buy small red kitchen appliances and/or a red vintage set of polka-dot dishes. Red goes well with black and white, but it you can add a retro look with some splashes of mint or aqua. Yes, this will be just as stylish as black & white & red contrast. Red kitchen appliances will also work perfectly with autumn accents of country style kitchens.

With red kitchen appliances you can go wrong, as well. Be sure those shades of red are matching. There are many colors that work lovely with red, not only white, so you have an opportunity to create a stylish and inviting kitchen with red accents in your existing kitchen. One thing is certain: if you find your kitchen boring, add red kitchen appliances and they will make a bold statement. For me it was an amazing make-over to my kitchen and I highly recommend it.
